[Main Ingredients] Bovis Calculus, Moschus, Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma, and Fel Serpentis Liquidum.
[Description] Sub-flat oval piece with an oval ring; brownish-yellow or greyish-brown surface with dense fine stripe, and visible mildew stains; texture hard, difficult to break; dark brown and slightly coarse fracture, with well-distributed colour and occasionally visible a small amount of mycelium, Brownish-yellow or light brownish-yellow powder; odour, slightly aromatic; taste, bitter and slightly sweet.
[Actions and indications]To clear heat, remove toxin, cool the blood aspect, eliminate stasis, alleviate edema and relieve pain. Pattern of heat toxin and blood stasis, seen in abscess, deep-rooted ulcer, boil and sore, traumatic injuries.
[Strength] 3 g per pill
[Administration and Dosage] For oral administration, 0.15-0.3 g for children under 8 years old, 0.6 g for patients above 8 years old, twice or three times a day. For topical administration, apply the medicine to the after grinding it powder and mixing it with cold boiled water or a vinegar ( apply to the area surrounding the ulcer ). Apply several times a day and keep the moist, or as advised by health professionals.
[Contraindications] Contraindicated during pregnancy.
